This story is based on a popular radio program called “Banana Club”with its hosts: Anthony Wong, Wong Tse Wah & Siu Gwok Wah, which is a talk show listening all audience’s complains, love problems and life difficulty, and giving them suggestions and comfort. From one layer, through the audiences’ talks about their lives, the movies attempt to illustrate the life style, people’s attitude towards problems, love, and life. On the other hand, it also criticizes and sneers at the social issues and even the radio program itself during the 90’s.

These (hosts) actors simultaneously play as their audiences in the movie: a gangster, a husband, a policeman, a playboy, … the gangster is trying to chase the policeman’s beautiful daughter, a housewife facing a problem that her husband wants her to enlarge her breast in order to satisfy him, and a playboy can not control himself to fall in love with a lesbian. When these people have problems, they turn to hosts of “Banana Club” and seek for the “experts” suggestions and take everything they suggest very seriously without knowing who the “experts” really are. But in reality, and in the film, the audience think the hosts are their friends and never know what is going on in the radio room.
